Bilingual Product Operations Assistant

We’re a team of specialized experts, dedicated to first-class customer service and claims assistance. We’re looking for a Bilingual Product Operations Assistant to join this team, in our Richmond, BC office.

TuGo is privately owned with headquarters in Richmond, BC. We have over 170 employees in offices across Canada.

What you'll do

  • Assist with coordination of department tasks for projects and ad hoc requests. Liaise with other team members to ensure tasks are completed within specified timelines. Help update and maintain department resource schedules.
  • Help input and test product content on our website and in our internal software program. Act as a librarian of this in a Content Management System.
  • Assist with product set-up and maintenance in policy sales system:
    o Create new product elements and agreement bundles in new policy sales system including modifiers, rates and all associated information using a system interface
    o Maintain and/or modify existing products in policy sales system
    o Complete product documentation
  • Assist with testing of rates, rules and product set up for policy sales systems by writing and/or running test cases and recording results, reporting bugs, and providing a summary of results.
  • Provide technical, administrative and clerical support: write minutes during meetings, order office supplies etc.
  • Achieve performance targets.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and all other teams.
  • Responsively and effectively handle issues.
  • Look for ways to improve customer experience.
  • Promote and model TuGo culture, values, and brand promise.
  • Continuously build professional and technical expertise.
  • Other duties as required.

What you'll bring

  • Degree or diploma in business or a related discipline
  • 1+ years of administrative experience
  • Strong computer skills (e.g. spreadsheet, word-processing) and experience using various web-based applications
  • Knowledge of HTML is an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, diverse priorities under deadlines
  • Detailed knowledge of TuGo products and knowledge of the Canadian Insurance Industry are assets
  • Excellent written and verbal French communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Strong team player and positive contributor
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and able to learn applications quickly
  • Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
