We’re a team of specialized experts, dedicated to first-class customer service and claims assistance. We’re looking for a Corporate Services Team Lead to join this team, in our Richmond, BC office.

TuGo is privately owned with headquarters in Richmond, BC. We have over 170 employees in offices across Canada.

What you'll do

  • You lead and provide hands-on support to the Corporate Services Team in providing administrative and operations support to others throughout TuGo as well as fulfilling on-going and wide-ranging responsibilities.
  • Lead, manage, and support the Corporate Services Team. Areas of responsibility include refunds, group policy entry, supply orders, inventory control, renewals, fulfillment, daily mail, corporate reception, insurance licensing support, Learning Management System (LMS) administration, event coordination, health & safety committee member, mobile telecommunications administration, company truck, office equipment, and office maintenance and supplies.
  • Manage various requests for support from other departments and delegate appropriately.
  • Build a highly-skilled, flexible team that can provide valuable operational and administrative support to other teams
  • Provide critical and confidential support to the Executive Assistant.
  • Be able to perform all team tasks when required and delegate effectively.
  • Collaborate on strategic planning with members of the Executive and leaders of other departments
  • Determine and communicate annual department operational plan goals and performance targets ensuring they are aligned with the corporate strategy.
  • Achieve department goals by ensuring team members have the necessary direction, capability and motivation.
  • Create a high performing, engaged team by effectively using performance management.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with all other teams.
  • Responsively and effectively handle escalated issues.
  • Improve customer experience in all aspects of the department; innovate to improve workflow, document processes, and ensure back-up is always available.
  • Promote and model TuGo culture, values, and brand promise in planned, measurable ways.
  • Promote a learning culture by supporting team learning opportunities and by building your own professional and technical expertise.
  • Other duties as required.

What you'll bring

  • University Degree in Business Administration or related discipline
  • Five or more years of successful senior level administrative support team leadership experience with a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Able to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels in the organization to achieve results
  • Successful project planning and organization skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and a champion of new software solutions
  • Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Able to consistently live our values of being purposeful, achievement-oriented, cohesive, evolutionary and treating others as you want to be treated
  • A passion for continuous learning and professional achievement
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and lead a customer experience focus
  • A passion for travel
