Graphic Designer

We’re a team of specialized experts, dedicated to first-class customer service and claims assistance. We’re looking for a Graphic Designer to join our team, in our Richmond, BC office.

TuGo is privately owned with headquarters in Richmond, BC. We have over 170 employees in offices across Canada.

What you'll do

  • Develop materials for print, media and web that reflect the TuGo brand.
  • Conceptualize and implemente design solutions that meet marketing strategies.
  • Work closely with the Creative Director (or project lead) to execute creative solutions that can be translated across various media platforms.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team to plan creative strategy and campaigns.
  • Prepare and develop web graphics for Google & social media ad platforms, corporate website, blog and micro-sites.
  • Prepare rough drafts and present your ideas.
  • Proficient in formatting multipage documents and preparing files for offset or digital printing.
  • Deliver creative within deadline and budget.
  • Create documents and presentations in Office 365 applications.
  • Manage reprint requests, gather estimates, coordinate print schedule and print production.
  • Design graphics and create email templates in MailChimp.
  • Liaise with suppliers to request for estimates and ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain effective and efficient electronic file management.
  • Storyboard and develop animated videos.
  • Achieve performance targets.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and all other teams.
  • Responsively and effectively handle issues.
  • Look for ways to improve customer experience.
  • Promote and model TuGo culture, values, and brand promise.
  • Continuously build professional and technical expertise.
  • Other duties as required.

What you'll bring

  • 4 year graphic design certificate or degree
  • 4+ years of experience in an in-house marketing or creative agency
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud Applications (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign,
    After Effects) to implement print, web and multimedia presentations
  • Extensive knowledge of Office 365 Apps (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint & Excel)
  • Strong typography skills
  • Strong file management skills
  • Proficiency in using the MAC platform
  • Digital and web design experience with understanding of UX, UI design
  • Knowledge of basic HTML and Wordpress
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Strong team player and positive contributor
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and able to learn applications quickly
  • Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
