We’re a team of specialized experts, dedicated to first-class customer service and claims assistance. We’re looking for a Project Coordinator to join this team, in our Richmond, BC office.

TuGo is privately owned with headquarters in Richmond, BC. We have over 170 employees in offices across Canada.

What you'll do

The Project Coordinator plays a key role in supporting and assisting the Project Managers.

  • Assist Project Managers to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives.
  • Help Project Managers, coordinate project activities, resources and information and maintain project documentation plans and reports.
  • Set-up and attend project meetings and record meeting minutes.
  • Coordinate project activities, resources and information and maintain project documentation plans and reports.
  • Help prepare project documents/templates, schedule and budget.
  • Monitor and track project’s progress and handle any issues that arise.
  • Use project management tools to monitor working hours, budget, plans and resources.
  • Issue all appropriate project paperwork including but not limited to Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), WBS dictionary, and activities list.
  • Achieve performance targets.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and all other teams.
  • Responsively and effectively handle issues.
  • Look for ways to improve customer experience.
  • Promote and model TuGo culture, values, and brand promise.
  • Continuously build professional and technical expertise.
  • Other duties as required.

What you'll bring

  • Successful completion of a post-secondary degree in Business or a related field
  • 2 years of experience in project coordination
  • Experience with JIRA and/or other project tracking software
  • Extensive experience using MS Project
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Strong team player and positive contributor
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and able to learn applications quickly
  • Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Able to consistently live our values of being purposeful, achievement-oriented, cohesive, evolutionary and treating others as you want to be treated
  • A strong customer experience focus
  • A passion for continuous learning and professional achievement
  • A passion for travel
