Marketing Communications Coordinator

We’re a team of specialized experts, dedicated to first-class customer service and claims assistance. We’re looking for a Marketing Communications Coordinator to join this team, in our Richmond, BC office.

TuGo is privately owned with headquarters in Richmond, BC. We have over 170 employees in offices across Canada.

What you'll do

  • Process internal requests utilizing our creative brief process.
  • Develop written content for internal corporate communications, intranet and print materials as needed.
  • Assist with writing blog and social media content.
  • Ensure TuGo's copy and graphic standards are followed in all marketing communications and web initiatives.
  • Coordinate production and maintenance of promotional and collateral materials by working with internal creative teams and external production vendors.
  • Communicate with customers for the purpose of gathering testimonials.
  • Identify and interpret key business trends and findings unique to the travel insurance industry.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings.
  • Achieve performance targets.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and all other teams.
  • Responsively and effectively handle issues.
  • Look for ways to improve customer experience.
  • Promote and model TuGo culture, values, and brand promise.
  • Continuously build professional and technical expertise.
  • Other duties as required.

What you'll bring

  • Post-Secondary diploma in Marketing, Communications, and/or related field required
  • 1+ years of experience in marketing, communications and/or related field
  • Experience in desktop publishing, email marketing programs, content management systems, and/or customer relationship management software, is a strong asset
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to articulate thoughts/ideas clearly and with commitment
  • Proven ability to generate creative ideas and solve problems
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Strong team player and positive contributon
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and able to learn applications quickly
  • Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Able to consistently live our values of being purposeful, achievement-oriented, cohesive, evolutionary and treating others as you want to be treated
  • A strong customer experience focus
